This week the we've heard that eating simple sugars/ process and enriched carbs are link to lung cancer. Not only that but this study claims that eating this type of carbs can increase the chances of developing cancer by as much as 49%. Food that are high on the glycemic index are , once again, leaving a not- so - sweet taste in our mouths,
What does this have to do with you? Habits, habit, habit. If you regularly eat foods that are high in sugar this new study can be the motivation we need to want to change our habits., Now, trust me, I get it. There is always a new study, and then another study that contradicts the first study. However, how many times does the medical field have to discover new dis-eases that are linked to processed food?

Stay away from
- Sodas/ Juice
- processed meats ( hot dogs, sandwich meat, canned meats)
- pre-packaged ready to pop-in the microwave foods
- White bread
- Enriched pasta
Instead Have This
- Multi- grain bread
- Quinoa, or buckwheat pasta
- 1 Green Smoothie / day
- 1 salad/day
- Water every day ( 1/2 your body weight in ounces)
